About the role
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Analyst – Finance within our dynamic organization. In this pivotal position, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, Business Partners, Performance Reporting team, and Territory Managers to provide essential business support through management reporting, standardized planning, and analysis for the dynamic business partnering team. Your responsibilities encompass actively engaging in business partnering activities for the region, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in the development of financial models, support the planning process, and contribute to the analysis of crucial key performance indicators.

The role location is based in our Manila Office in Pasig.
What you will be doing
Reporting:
- Deliver accurate, meaningful, and timely business and regional performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for month-end, quarterly, half-year, and full-year reporting.
- Support Monthly Business Review report compilation.
- Perform volumes and pricing analysis and customer profitability reviews
- Perform cost of sales analysis and maintenance of product costs.
- Collate insights on business unit results and market conditions to help influence commercial decision making.
- Conduct variance analysis against forecasts, budgets and actual results from previous period.
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis and provide financial support to Territory Managers, Area Business Managers and Regional Business Partnering teams.
Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasts:
- Contribute to the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of budgets, planning, and forecasts.
- Assist in coordinating the annual budget process and regional forecast processes.
- Ensure completeness of all cost center budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in compiling and submitting annual capex budgets and forecasts.
Administration and Compliance Expertise:
- Provide analysis of functional business spend, ensuring adherence to cash fixed cost targets.
- Monitor and report accurate spending, including managing accruals and balance sheets.
- Identify errors and perform the necessary adjustments to correct
- Support cost centre owners in cost control and ensuring compliance with Orica standards.
What you will bring
- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business discipline.
- Bring valuable experience in a large, global business within a similar role.
- Demonstrate 2-3 years of postgraduate experience in accounting or finance (or related discipline).
- Advantageous to have an understanding of SAP modules, particularly BPC / S4 Hana.
- Highly knowledgeable in MS Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel proficiency.
- Able to work on a 3PM to 12MN shift.
