About the role

The Analyst - Finance Business provides financial business partner analysis support to commercial teams.

What you will be doing

Reporting:

  • Elevate your impact by delivering accurate, meaningful, and timely business performance insights to Supply Chain, Finance, and NALT.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for month-end and quarterly reporting, presenting compelling Monthly Executive Reports.
  • Demonstrate your analytical prowess by collating cost center analysis and conducting variance analysis against forecasts and budgets. Engage in responsive ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasts:

  • Be at the forefront of financial strategy by consolidating and analyzing budgets, planning, and forecasts for the Supply Chain Function on both regional and global scales.
  • Champion completeness by ensuring all cost center budgets and forecasts is meticulously curated and up to date.

Administration and Compliance:

  • Take the lead in analyzing functional business spend, ensuring adherence to cash fixed cost targets, with direct responsibility for specific Central/Support cost centers.
  • Showcase your expertise in spend monitoring and reporting, including accruals and balance sheet management.
  • Proactively engage with cost center owners, assisting in reducing spend and ensuring alignment with plans.
  • Play a pivotal role in ensuring profit center accounting is not only complete and accurate but also aligned with corporate requirements for the region.
  • Uphold Orica standards by ensuring all activities comply with our high benchmarks.

What you will bring

  • Over 3 years of related field experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
  • Preferred expertise in Supply Chain Finance with a thorough understanding of supply chain processes
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Analytical mindset with strong business acumen
  • Essential problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Role will work in Denver hours.
