About the role
The Supervisor - People Services Global for the LATAM region plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of new hires and managing a dedicated team to maintain efficient people services operations. This position demands a deep understanding of HR processes, exceptional leadership abilities, and the skill to navigate the cultural nuances specific to the LATAM region. Additionally, fluency in Spanish is essential for effective communication and collaboration.
What you will be doing
- Team Management:
o Supervise and lead a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
o Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
o Ensure team goals and objectives are aligned with the overall strategy of the People Services Global department.
- Onboarding:
o Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires in the LATAM region.
o Ensure all onboarding activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner, including documentation, compliance checks, and orientation programs.
o Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
- Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities to streamline and improve onboarding and HR processes.
o Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience.
o Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to onboarding and HR services.
- Compliance:
o Ensure all HR activities comply with local labor laws and regulations in the LATAM region.
o Stay updated on changes in labor laws and adjust processes accordingly.
- Stakeholder Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers, department heads, and senior leadership.
o Act as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses.
- Training and Development:
o Develop and deliver training programs for new hires and existing employees.
o Support the professional development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities.
What you will bring
- Proven experience in HR for at least 3-5 years, with a focus on onboarding and team management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Very strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Fluency in Spanish is mandatory. Proficiency in Portuguese is highly desirable.
