About the role

 

In this role, you will be part of the team that maintains the Global Vendor Master Data within our supply chain and manufacturing systems. You will serve as the subject matter expert to vendor master data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with global standards. Key responsibilities include managing vendor data requests, supporting risk mitigation to suppliers’ data, collaborating with regional teams, and supporting process improvements to enhance data quality and operational efficiency. 

 

Spanish language proficiency is essential to support vendor data activities in Spanish-speaking regions.

What you will be doing

 

  • Provide subject matter expertise on vendor master data, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and proper integration with related data sets and systems.
  • Review, validate, and execute vendor data requests within agreed service levels and according to risk mitigation plan.
  • Drives data cleansing and vendor obsolescence activities and recommend process or system improvements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, regional and global teams, and other master data functions to support effective integration and knowledge sharing.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive improvements in vendor master data management practices.
  • Escalate potential risks or issues in a timely manner to enable quick resolution and maintain business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance by following governance and change management frameworks when supporting process or system changes.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support global stakeholders and ensure smooth coordination across regions.

What you will bring

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in master data management or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of vendor master data processes, with experience in Source-to-Pay processes considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong experience in SAP-enabled business processes (SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA).
  • Exposure to working in global business environments and supporting end-to-end processes across regions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across global teams.
  • Proven track record of working in fast-paced environments, demonstrating attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) to support global vendor interactions.
