About the role
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor- Mobile Fleet & Plant to join our team
at North Mara, Tanzania. You will be responsible for servicing mobile fleet and plant manufacturing equipment, ensuring
the safe and efficient delivery and allocation of vehicles, equipment and plant to drive sustainable revenue.
We are looking for an individual with exceptional organisational skills, inclusive and well-developed leadership abilities,
extensive knowledge of maintenance and engineering methodologies to strengthen the partnership & delivery with the
customer on site and the team reporting to this role.

What you will be doing
Ensure Compliance with SHES charter across operations on site and adherence from the team.
Delivering complaint practice with MMU maintenance procedures, including work permits, confined space entry, control
of change, PPE application, record keeping, security management and employee handbook.
“Red Book” to be maintained.
Hold MMU, MCU and Plant critical spares on site.
Ensure adherence to all SHES policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard company personnel and assets.
Promote and uphold safety standards through strong leadership .
Enforcement of the requirements of the relevant Statutory regulations, SH&E Policy and the Customer Mine Standards.
Ensuring that all accidents in the department are immediately notified to the Site Coordinator.
Participate in SHES programs, Do at least 4 walk about per year.
Implementing new procedures and administrative systems.
Organize workflow according to workload in order to meet delivery schedule and to complete assigned jobs.
Prepare, maintain and present, when required, accurate production reports.

Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to
subordinates.
Active participation in drafting and revision of operating procedures.
Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
Receive complaints and resolve problems.
Maintain timekeeping and personnel records.
Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa.
Prepare proper maintenance reports and sustenance of records.
Daily Master blast updating.
Decide on reward and promotion based on performance.
Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
Active participation in site meetings, and demonstrable cooperation with Orica and Customer’s staff at site.
Assist Site Supervisor with local communities (in conjunction with client) to facilitate community knowledge and
acceptance of site operations.
Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
What you will bring
Full Technician/ Diploma Holder in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, a degree in Mechanical will be an added advantage.
7- 10 years working experience which 3-5 need to be in leading or managing a team.
Blasting and undergroud experience is adventageous
Strong leadership skills and driving development of the team. Knowledge of maintenance systems and planning.
Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field.
Effective written communication and interpersonal skills.
Very Effective organizational and leadership skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to analyse data and transfer it into action plans.
