About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for the Mt Isa Depot Workshop. In this role, you will be responsible for improving targets regarding plant performance, production and safety to the highest levels possible, delivering predicative and preventative maintenance plans, as well as providing effective support to the Asset Fitters and Orica sites.
Roster will be Monday to Friday and candidates must reside in Mount Isa to be considered for this role.
What you will be doing
- Managing Redbook Compliance for the workshop and work orders for Asset Fitters to complete;
- Ensuring effective planning and management of service bookings, whilst minimizing maintenance expenses;
- Liaising with sites and Fitters to schedule internal and external services and maintenance, plan and ensure the coordinated, timely and managed approach of vehicle service bookings with all stakeholders;
- Scheduling work for equipment maintenance servicing and repairs/breakdowns working with the Asset Fitters and entering their time against work orders;
- Working with 3rd party vendors for external maintenance repairs as well as parts ordering;
- Ensuring compliance with Orica NHVAS requirements (National Heavy Vehicle accreditation scheme), mine site compliance and other relevant statutory regulations; and
- Building and sustaining strong working relationships with Orica Operational personnel whose equipment we maintain.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position within an automotive or heavy vehicle workshop;
- Working knowledge of repairs and maintenance;
- Excellent Skills in Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel);
- Experience working with order management i.e. SAP 4S would be advantageous;
- The ability to build rapport and effective working relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders;
- The ability to obtain a SSAN security clearance (a clean police record).
