About the role
Responsible for reporting and analysis for SHES management regional management teams. Specialist coaching for SHES management & reports within Enablon; Development and refinement of measurements and reports structure for regional SHES data.
Location: Monclova, Coahuila (ONSITE WORK)
What you will be doing
• Interacts strongly with Corporate SHES and the broader organization, with respect to benchmarking and sharing of best reporting practice
• The role includes Functional reporting to Mining Services (Open Pit and Under Ground) and Supply Chain
• This role is responsible to support the development and refinement of measurements and report structure for regional SHES data
• To analyze data and the maintenance of annual and YTD information for SHES throughout the region
• This role provides the data, trend analysis and identifies opportunities for improvement in Regional SHES activities
• This role is seen as vital to the Region in providing both analysis of business data collected, development of new presentational formats and SHES systems expertise and support
• Conduct On-Site SHES Data Collection and Analysis at Transport Vendor Locations. Perform regular visits to transport vendor sites to collect firsthand SHES performance data, validate reporting accuracy, and assess compliance with regional safety standards.
SAFETY HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT
• Personal SHES plan
• Provide assistance with database management and coaching for SHES
• Promote leadership of SHES Awareness across the group
• Provide functional expertise, coaching and mentoring to SHES to ensure an appropriate SHES culture throughout the Business
• Reporting of SHES KPI’s and to ensure consistency across the region
CREATIVE CUSTOMER SOLUTIONS
• Leadership, coaching and specialist knowledge to the Business on SHES database systems
• Contribute to the development of the strategic direction by providing SHES data to established improvement targets
• Manage SHES documents in Enablon for benchmarking and reporting structures
• Engagement with Corporate SHES function and Outlook support teams to ensure Enablon is performing at optimum level
• Influence the way forward by identifying and proposing any improvement opportunities within Enablon, new technology and innovative ways to capture employee engagement
• Provision of data on Customer SHES trends • Provide administrative support for the Operations & SHES Manager and SHES Snr Specialist Team
• Preparation and publication of regular reports and follow up on Incident reporting and action management
WORKING TOGETHER
• Provide coaching for senior level and field personnel in correct process of data collation to ensure accuracy of information for analysis and reporting
• To provide reporting and SH&E Analysis for SHES Management teams and Orica Corporate• To develop and refine measurement and report structure for SHES data
• Develop of training packages to assist field personnel adhere to SHES requirements and compliance within database, leading to improved data collection efficiency
• As key Enablon user for SHES, provide support to regions with use and analysis of information within databases
• Administrator of Orica Safety Alerts database• Owner/Administrator of Orica Take 5/KPI databases
• Management of HPI (High Potential Incident) reference and reporting• Key coordinator for the annual letter of assurance process mail out for Region
COMMERCIAL OWNERSHIP
• Collection, collation, analysis and preparation of presentations outlining key SHES metrics for function Management Teams. This may necessitate the use of a variety of innovative software
• Ensure use of metrics which accurately reflects the key drivers of SHES performance and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure that the current reporting metrics are the most relevant for the business
• Review CFC spend for SHES and highlight issues to SHES Snr Specialists
• Assist in coordination of the audit schedule to ensure that the Checkpoint audit information is maintained in a secure fashion and that Checkpoint audits are completed on time
What you will bring
- • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• English Proficient
• 3+ years of experience in similar HSE roles
• Experience in the mining sector (Preferred)
• Transport of Hazardous Materials (Required)
• Experience with Data Analysis and Trend Identification
