About the role
We are delighted to announce that we are looking for a talented Specialist – Operations Excellence to join our team.
In this role, you will act as a technical authority and trusted partner to both internal teams and clients, ensuring AMT equipment, systems, and processes are operated, maintained, and utilised to the highest standards. You will play a critical role in quality assurance, safety, data integrity, and continuous improvement, helping safeguard AMT’s reputation as a leading provider of survey technologies while driving operational excellence across the region.

What you will be doing
- Provide expert operational and maintenance support across AMT equipment and systems, ensuring accurate asset tracking, reporting, and optimal utilisation.
- Act as a key contributor to systems, data, and process governance, supporting accurate data capture, maintenance schedules, and Management of Change (MOC) compliance.
- Support safety and compliance governance, monitoring site non-compliances, delivering insights to leadership, and contributing to measurable improvements in operational and safety performance.
- Provide regional technical backup and client-facing support, including troubleshooting equipment issues, responding to technical queries, and ensuring high-quality survey outcomes.
- Deliver training, coaching, and technical demonstrations (onsite and remote), building capability, confidence, and trust in AMT products, systems, and data quality.
What you will bring
- A relevant qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Maintenance, or Senior Administration, with minimum 5 years’ experience in exploration drilling or related services.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex instrumentation, systems, and field measurement technologies.
- A structured, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset, with the discipline to follow procedures and ensure high data accuracy and asset integrity.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and support operational teams and customers.
- A results-driven and continuous improvement mindset, demonstrating safety leadership, accountability, and resilience in a fast-paced operational environment.
