About the role
The COORDINATOR SHES is a company representative in the Northern Cape Mines: Sishen and Kolomela as acquired for business, providing the role as the legal safety appointment on site,
maintaining GroundProbe safety files and supporting the Passport 360 E - safety system and act as safety liaison within the Geo Technical department on site to foster relationships with
stakeholders
What you will be doing
Accumulate Health and Safety data for the GroundProbe Safety File
Capture data on the Passport 360 E - safety system and keep information relevant and up to date
Work safely, and with regard to the safety of others, including: Comply with all WHS policies and procedures
Identify and eliminate hazards in the workplace; Actively work to improve safety performance
Have a basic understanding on the use and performance of the Slope Stability Radar
Communicate effectively with customers through clear verbal and written correspondence
What you will bring
Experience in the area of Health and Safety
Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic working environment; Good communication skills
Computer literacy especially in MS Office is essential
Your qualifications
Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental studies (NQF5)
Unencumbered Manual Drivers Licence
Ability to obtain national police clearance certificate for work at mine sites
