About the role

We’re looking for a Process Engineer to join our Manufacturing Technology team in a newly created role focused on solving real, complex process challenges across our global operations.

You’ll be working hands-on with sites to improve how plants actually run. From troubleshooting recurring issues to optimising performance, you’ll help lift reliability, safety, and efficiency across multiple manufacturing facilities.

You’ll work closely with site teams, project delivery, and technical specialists to identify what’s not working, fix it, and make sure solutions stick not just at one plant, but across the wider network. It’s an opportunity to take proven improvements and scale them, driving meaningful impact beyond a single site.

If you enjoy getting into the detail, understanding how processes behave in the real world, and seeing your work translate into measurable improvements on site, this role offers that mix of technical depth and practical impact.

What you will be doing

  • Support and deliver technical improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites;
  • Provide process engineering expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues;
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of engineering and optimisation projects;
  • Partner with site teams, PMO, and global stakeholders to improve plant performance;
  • Apply data, modelling, and engineering tools to enhance efficiency and reliability;
  • Participate in process safety activities (e.g. HAZOP, risk assessments) to ensure safe operations; and
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including advanced process control and digital technologies.

What you will bring

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering (or similar);
  • Around 3–5 years’ experience in process engineering, plant operations, or design;
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and process safety principles;
  • Exposure to process modelling tools (e.g. Aspen, ProSim) is advantageous;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across teams and functions; and
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing or heavy industry is preferred with nitric acid and/or ammonium nitrate manufacturing highly regarded.

What we offer

As part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture. We foster relationships and learning through connected global and local teams, promote flexible and diverse career paths and support the development of your knowledge and skills.

You will be paid a competitive salary, learn from talented individuals across multiple disciplines and be able to thrive in a safe workplace within a collaborative culture. Ignite your career at a place where your distinct potential can find its home.
