About the role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable operations at our Kooragang Island site.
In this role, you will take ownership of planning all mechanical and electrical/instrumentation (E/I) maintenance activities, both corrective and routine, while producing weekly schedules and coordinating with key stakeholders. You’ll prepare detailed work packs for weekly scheduled maintenance activities, plan shutdown activities, run SAP reports, and implement continuous improvements to planning processes, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

What you will be doing
- Coordinate with vendors for quotes and plan jobs in SAP.
- Develop and distribute weekly schedules, including plant shutdowns.
- Prepare work packs for upcoming jobs and ensure timely statutory inspections.
- Run SAP reports, analyze data, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure contractor inductions and maintain a strong safety focus.
What you will bring
- Trade background with experience in mechanical and E/I maintenance planning.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance module.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- 5–8 years’ experience in heavy or chemical industry.
