About the role

 

We are seeking a Project Delivery Lead (Electrical) to join our Asset Management team at Kooragang Island. Reporting to the Programme Lead / Manager PMO, this role is responsible for the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of capital projects across our manufacturing site.

 

This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on turning scope into outcomes. You’ll work closely with asset owners, operations, and contractors to deliver projects that support business objectives and long-term asset performance. While an engineering background is valued, we also welcome applications from trade-qualified professionals who bring strong site experience and proven project delivery capability.

What you will be doing

 

  • Lead the planning and delivery of capital projects from initiation through to close-out;
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality across assigned projects;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for asset owners and key site stakeholders;
  • Coordinate and manage contractors, consultants, and engineering resources;
  • Ensure compliance with project governance, engineering standards, and SHES requirements;
  • Monitor project performance and provide clear reporting on cost, schedule, and safety;
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects in a live operational environment.

What you will bring

 

  • Engineering degree (Electrical preferred) or a relevant trade qualification with strong site experience;
  • 2–5 years’ site-based project management experience in manufacturing or heavy industry;
  • Proven ability to deliver capital projects across the full project lifecycle;
  • Strong understanding of site safety, permits, and working within operating facilities;
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and consultants;
  • Solid commercial awareness, including cost control and scheduling;
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to lead and influence diverse stakeholders.
