About the role
We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Material Handler – ISPE Distribution. In this role, you will support the safe, timely, and efficient flow of products through Orica’s Warehouses and Magazines network. You will be responsible for picking, packing, receiving, storing, and dispatching goods while ensuring that accurate and up‑to‑date stock information is always maintained.
This role reports directly to the Coordinator – Warehouse & Distribution and plays an important part in ensuring the reliability of our supply chain.

What you will be doing
- Champion a safe work environment by identifying and preventing unsafe practices, actively engaging with team members, and applying the CLEAR and UIR processes.
- Perform accurate picking, packing, and receiving of goods in alignment with system requirements, ensuring product integrity—especially for serialized items.
- Record all product movements in the system immediately after completion to maintain real‑time stock visibility and data accuracy.
- Safely store, handle, and transport goods across warehouses and distribution centres in accordance with operational and safety standards.
- Maintain precise stock levels by supporting the physical flow of materials and ensuring all warehouse activities meet quality and compliance expectations.
What you will bring
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and the confidence to intervene, report, and prevent unsafe practices using CLEAR and UIR processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately pick, pack, receive, and verify goods, including serialized products.
- Reliability in maintaining real-time, precise stock records through consistent and timely system updates.
- The capability to safely handle, store, and move materials within warehouse and distribution environments.
- A proactive, team‑oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in daily operations.
