About The Role – Product Support Specialist (Maple Ridge BC)
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Product Support Specialist for within our Digital Solutions team focused on GeoExplorer – Orica’s leading data visualization software – and all associated geotechnical monitoring equipment offered by Orica.
This role will give you the exciting opportunity to support many local and international industry leaders with their complex geotechnical monitoring projects (open pit/underground mines, hydro-electric dams, bridges, tunnels, etc).
The Product Support Specialist reports directly to the Product Support Supervisor and compliments an existing team of Product Support Specialists across the world. As part of this larger team, you are expected to always bring a respectful, positive, and curious attitude to all interactions, as well as show a constant desire to learn and grow.
What you will be doing
• Ensure compliance with all WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) policies and procedures.
• Respond to customer inquiries via ticketing system, email, and phone with a focus on timely resolution.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for GeoExplorer and associated hardware/software systems.
• Assist with system commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting during project deployment.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Deliver onboarding and training sessions for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to resolve complex issues and improve user experience.
What you will bring
• Commitment to all WHS policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Strong work ethic, problem-solving capability, and a passion for troubleshooting.
• General knowledge of geotechnical instrumentation, electronics, networking, mechanics, and/or computer systems.
• Experience working with geotechnical monitoring equipment or related software (total stations, piezometers, extensometers, inclinometers, settlement cells, etc).
Preferred Assets Additional Information
• Bilingual English & French/Spanish/Portuguese.
• Experience with Orica GeoSolutions (RST/NavStar, Measurand, Syscom, 3vG, or GroundProbe) products and equipment.
• Experience with industry competitor (Canary, Geokon, Campbell Scientific, Worldsensing, Sensemetrics, etc) products and equipment.
• Programming knowledge (Python, Visual Basic, etc.) for advanced data analysis and automation.
Your qualifications
• Education: Diploma or degree in Geotechnical, Geospatial, Geological, Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience with geotechnical instrumentation, telemetry, electronics, software, communications, construction, or similar disciplines.

Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Compensation
• Salary Range: $68,752 to $88,000 CAD.
• Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
