About the role

 

GroundProbe is seeking a Technical Specialists to provide technical expertise, training, and product support across the Australasia region. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our cutting-edge technologies are installed, maintained, and optimised for both surface and underground environments.

 

The position is based at our Perth office and will be required initially Monday to Friday.  The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and will undergo a six-month probation period. After probation, they will transition to an 8/6 roster.

 

This role involves travel to customer sites across Western Australia.

What you will be doing

 

  • Technology Deployment: Install, commission, and maintain GroundProbe products at client sites, ensuring seamless integration.
     
  • Customer Training and Support: Provide hands-on training, technical assistance, and data monitoring to enhance product effectiveness.
     
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to WHS policies, perform risk assessments, and champion safety initiatives.
     
  • Performance Optimisation: Troubleshoot, maintain, and report on product performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
     
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and clients to support innovation and strengthen customer relationships.

What you will bring

 

  • Qualifications and relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, or electronic disciplines.
  • Expertise in electronics, radar, telecommunications, or related fields (mechanical knowledge would be highly regarded.
  • Strong communication and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
  • Ability to train individuals and small groups effectively.
  • Computer literacy, especially in MS Office.
  • A manual driver’s license and ability to travel globally.

    Clearance requirements: police check, drug and alcohol screening, and pre-employment medical assessments.
