As such, we are thrilled to announce that we are currently seeking a dynamic Business Development Lead to improve market position, drive financial growth, and strengthen key customer relationships. This high-impact role focuses on winning new business, retaining competitor-held accounts, and identifying opportunities in greenfield markets.

About the role

 

  • Strategic Growth: Develop strategies, forecasts, and commercial offers to convert new business opportunities while ensuring value-driven outcomes.
  • Pipeline & Reporting: Facilitate pipeline meetings, maintain accurate tracking, and manage data for effective opportunity analysis.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Lead customer forums, analyse market trends, and align value drivers to create tailored value propositions.
  • Key Account Management: Build strong relationships, oversee contracts, and coordinate with regional business units to drive success.
  • Project Leadership: Manage strategic projects, bid processes, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.

What you will be doing

 

  • At least 7 years' experience in a Business Development position within the mining/ technology industry
  • Proven ability to influence and manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong vendor and customer relationship skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and business systems such as SAP or CRM tools.
  • Strategic decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to obtain a Security Clearance and successfully undertake a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
