About the role
We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our Supply Chain Excellence team in the EMEA region. This role is the subject matter expert of our standards, processes, procedures, and KPIs with a focus on planning. You will support the embedment of systems and processes within the region to ensure compliance, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and provide guidance in master data management.
This position can be based in Lisbon, Portugal, or remote in any other Orica location in Europe.
What you will be doing
As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for:
• Providing subject matter expertise for the Regional Supply Chain team on Group Standards, processes, and procedures
• Supporting the embedment of standard data, processes, and systems with a focus on planning
• Supporting internal audit processes and procedures
• Consulting and engaging stakeholders on data and process issues, working to resolve them efficiently within planning
• Monitoring, tracking, and reporting performance of Supply Chain planning KPIs
• Working closely with supply chain teams to understand variance reasons of performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvements in the overall process
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, encouraging best practices, and ensuring full compliance
What you will bring
• Relevant University degree
• At least 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning in a multinational environment (preferably with a global organization)
• Planning and scheduling skills
• Strong inventory management experience
• SAP system experience with Supply Chain modules preferred
• Proven ability to influence and manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Other language skills are advantageous.
