About the role

The Operator – Boosters plays a vital role in producing high‑quality boosters and detonating cord that support mining and infrastructure projects across the country. In this role, you will safely operate production equipment and follow established processes to ensure products are made efficiently, accurately, and to the highest safety standards.

You’ll work hands‑on in a team environment, taking pride in honest work that supports your community, while helping deliver reliable products to our customers. Safety, teamwork, and care for the environment are part of how we work every day.

This is a fixed-term role based in Orica Limay Plant.

What you will be doing

Key Accountabilities

• Manufactures products which conform to agreed customer requirements by monitoring the process, product, quality and raw material quality
• Reports all non-conformances to the Shift Leaders. Raises of Red Cards if the product does not conform to requirements.
• Participates in corrective action investigations.
