About the role

 

The Coordinator – Procurement & Sourcing is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of raw materials, consumables, engineering spares, and services required by the plant. This role covers the full Source to Pay (S2P) process, including supplier identification and evaluation, sourcing and negotiation, purchase order creation, goods receipt coordination, and invoice reconciliation. The Coordinator ensures that all procurement activities meet required specifications, adhere to delivery lead times, and secure the best possible cost, while avoiding any disruption to manufacturing or plant operations. This position plays a vital part in maintaining operational continuity, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and contributing to cost-effective sourcing strategies.

What you will be doing

 

  • Manage the end-to-end Source to Pay (S2P) process via the Ariba Network, from supplier sourcing and onboarding to purchase order execution, goods receipt, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, consumables, engineering spares, and services to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Lead supplier identification, qualification, and negotiations to secure optimal value and align with business needs.
  • Administer supplier contracts and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure compliance, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate contract requirements between suppliers and the company, ensuring alignment with business needs and legal standards.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts using Ariba templates, ensuring timely execution and proper upload into the Ariba system for full lifecycle visibility.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing plants to address raw material and engineering requirements, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster collaboration and long-term partnerships.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies, including dual sourcing and material substitution programs, to enhance supply chain resilience and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier performance against quality standards and delivery timelines, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Support strategic procurement initiatives and contribute to operational improvements across sourcing activities.
  • Represent the Procurement team in cross-functional meetings with Finance, actively resolving payment disputes, addressing GR/IR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) discrepancies, and providing updates on prepayments to ensure accurate financial reconciliation and reporting.
  • Identify, document, and report cost reduction opportunities, leveraging data analysis and supplier collaboration to drive measurable savings and improve procurement efficiency.

What you will bring

 

  • Academic degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven background in cost reduction initiatives, with the ability to identify, document, and report savings opportunities and their business impact.
  • Proficient in SAP, with hands-on experience navigating various modules to support procurement and reporting functions.
  • Able to facilitate contract requirements between suppliers and internal stakeholders, drafting agreements using Ariba templates, and ensuring timely execution and upload into the Ariba system.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of conveying both technical and commercial value to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong market awareness and ability to thrive in a global, multicultural, and fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable representing Procurement in cross-functional meetings, particularly with Finance, to resolve payment disputes, GR/IR issues, and prepayment updates.
