About the role
We are looking for a positive and driven individual to become Chile and Argentina’s next Manager Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting and rare opportunity; the successful person will be a member of the Regional Finance leadership and will report into the Vice President Finance Latin America.
In this highly visible and critical role you will be responsible for driving accountability of business performance, for pursuing operational excellence and the delivery of insights and analysis on operating results while contributing to a culture of value creation and customer centricity.
This role requires complex financial analyses and insight into underlying performance. It also has a high degree of stakeholder partnership; you should be comfortable with influencing to drive outcomes. You should be passionate about solving big and complex commercial problems using data, even when the answer or the problem is ambiguous. You should be eager to continuously learn and improve your skills.
The ideal candidate has experience developing and managing high performance finance teams.
What you will be doing
- Building relationships with key stakeholders and influence decision making with fact based insightful and innovative commercial analysis.
- Generating insights and recommendations to drive end to end profitability improvement, through advanced modelling and analysis of financial and non-financial data (e.g., market insights, trends, benchmarks, scenario analysis, profitability, cost, and efficiency analysis).
- Delivering business partner inputs to ensure Management understands standard Monthly performance reporting including key drivers and variance from plan and forecast.
- Accountable for control of profit and loss, Trade Working Capital (TWC) and cash flow and analysis, visibility, and insight into underlying business unit financial performance
- Translating the strategic and operational plans into budgets and plans that improve performance and delivery. Key contributor to the annual budget process, 3-year plan and the financial forecasting including providing sub-regional input and analysis.
- Evaluating and analysing business cases for all new business initiatives, including investment opportunities (CapEx, leasing and OpEx), customer tender opportunities. Conducting regular customer & product profitability analysis.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and work with the business to implement risk mitigation plans and provide insight and visibility into drivers of performance to improve commercial outcomes.
What you will bring
- Role ideally suited to individuals with 8+ years’ work experience, with partnering experience and a varied finance background covering Strategy, Planning and Analysis.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business as well as professional designation (CA / CPA).
- Experience working in a large/global fast-paced organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present succinctly to senior key stakeholders.
- A collaborative partner and business oriented professional, with excellent analytical and data processing skills with attention to details and strong people leadership experience.
- Have excellent proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint with Power BI also highly regarded.
- Proficient knowledge of SAP.
- Fluent in English.
