About the role

Location: Kurri Kurri Technology Centre or any Australian office (Hybrid)

Join Orica’s Digital Solutions team and help shape the future of mining. We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Product Manager – Blast Design to lead the development of next-gen drill and blast engineering software.

In this role, you’ll combine your mining expertise with a passion for technology to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, UX, commercial, and cybersecurity teams, while engaging directly with users to define and execute a product strategy that drives real value.

What you’ll be doing:

• Defining and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmaps
• Collaborating with design and engineering to build innovative solutions
• Engaging with customers to gather insights and prioritise features
• Ensuring alignment with business goals and software quality standards
• Leading go-to-market planning and product launches
• Championing secure, user-centric product development.
  
  

What you’ll bring:

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field
• 3+ years in mining (drill & blast focus) and 3+ years in product management
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with Agile, SHOTPlus™, Jira, Confluence, Figma (desirable)
• Willingness to travel internationally and to remote sites
• Passion for innovation and the METS industry
