About the role - Representative - Technical Solutions (Kamloops, BC) - 36566
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Representative - Technical Solutions, focused on driving customer productivity (and corresponding Orica profitability) through the application of Orica technologies and blasting best practice to the fulfillment of specific customer needs. This role will support the delivery of the overall commercial objectives of the business unit, which includes supporting Senior Representatives in delivery of advanced services and solutions.
What you will be doing
This role is responsible for delivery of technical solutions offerings within the regional business unit. This role is vital in the identification, valuation, scoping and execution of key customer blasting process improvements, and the realization of value for Orica for the delivery of these improvements. This role reports to the Regional Technical Solutions Lead and forms an integral part of the Technical Solutions Team. This role interacts strongly with the Technical Solutions Team, Digital Solutions Team, Operations, Commercial and customers.
What you will bring
- Mining Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years relevant industrial experience.
- 1+ years Drill and Blast experience.
- Results Orientation.
- Critical Information Seeking.
- Customer Service Focus.
Role dimensions
- The role can be based in Kamloops, BC or Calgary, AB.
- This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days per week in the office.
- 50% travelling.

Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Compensation Range
- Compensation range: $84,000 to $113,000/year
- Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
