About the role

The Operator - MMU is responsible for the safe operation of the Mobile Manufacturing Unit (MMU) to deliver and load bulk explosives at mining sites. This role ensures all activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while supporting efficient blasting operations.

What you will be doing

• Operate MMU trucks safely and efficiently to transport and load bulk explosives at designated blast sites.
• Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance on MMU equipment.
• Handle and mix explosives according to Orica’s safety and quality standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with all site safety regulations.
• Monitor and control stock levels of raw materials (e.g., ammonium nitrate, fuel, emulsions).
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including product usage and safety checks.
• Report safety incidents, equipment malfunctions, or operational issues to supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.

What you will bring

• High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or higher qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in mining, blasting, or heavy equipment operation (preferred).
• Possession of a valid SIM B II (Heavy Vehicle Driving License).
• Basic mechanical and technical knowledge of MMU equipment.
• Good understanding of Mining Safety Management System Aspect by always prioritizing Safety Value.
