About the role
The Territory Manager delivers safe and effective in-field operations, DIFOT to customers; CFC management and debtor compliance; day to day contract execution and variation management; owns local and site customer interface and relationships and provides key demand & market feedback to the business.
What you will be doing
- Develop and manage key customer and partner relationships.
- Manage operational activities at site/s in line with applicable SHES, operational and technical policies.
- Manage demand fulfilment from site/s to blasthole.
- Manage site/s DIFOT & operational performance reporting.
- Conduct site/s operational reviews.
- Conduct customer demand planning.
- Actively manage assets through their life cycle, including sustenance capital spend and replacement planning.
- Implement plans to ensure the maximum utilisation, availability and security of business assets and resources on site/s.
- Manage bid tender preparation, negotiation and contract finalisation for site/s.
- Identify customer needs and opportunities for differentiation, and develop and execute solutions in collaboration with Technical and Technology teams.
- Facilitate face to face BRAD customer meetings.
- Contract management (including variations, and implementation of invoicing and pricing adjustments).
- Ensure CFC / CAPEX controls are in place and expenditure is in line with budgets.
- Ensure customer debtor compliance is aligned to contracted terms.
What you will bring
- Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
- Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated skills associated with building strong customer and partner relationships.
- Financial acumen & budgeting experience.
- Good understanding of Mining Safety Management System.
