About the role


The Indirect Business Manager manages the negotiation and indirect sales of targeted products to competitors and industrial customers.

What you will be doing

 

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers and LECs.
  • Responsible for the Profitability and Sustainable Management of the Indirect Business for Indonesia. Owns Indirect Accounts relationship. Assist customers/LECs through email, phone, online presentations, and in person meetings.
  • Responsible for the Long-Term Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Commercial execution of those budgets and forecast for the Indirect Business Channel for Indonesia.
  • Develop Monthly Business Review pack of Indirect business which will be presented every month.
  • Develop AN cost analysis. Maintenance of competitor-centric views of competitor landscape, Next Best Alternative pricing and Supply/Demand opportunities and communicate impacts of market to regional commercial and marketing personnel.
  • Liaise with Commercial team to develop monthly AN pricing.
  • Liaise with Supply Chain team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly report initiatives to internal stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics of each customer/competitor. Creation and achievement of the annual Indirect Channel Budget targets including Profit and DSOs. • S&OP Forecasting – Short-Medium and Long Term Supply allocation for Indirect Accounts.
  • Develop Financial Model for contract renewal/extension in accordance with standard of KNI’s policy. Coordinates of internal stakeholders during Bid Management process including support in the development of internal briefing packs, financial modelling and proposal documents.
  • Develop the agreement in accordance with standard Terms and Conditions and working closely with Legal team.
  • Develop relationship with all related regulatory in accordance with KNI license purpose.
  • Responsible for working with the Supply Chain and Marketing team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.
  • Liaise with Procurement team to manage commercial of KNI plant in accordance with efficiency and improvement program within KNI Bontang.
  • Manage external stakeholders of KNI in particular to partnership within ammonia and utilities stakeholders.
  • Leads project/manages regionally strategic step out projects or provide regional support for business improvement programs.

What you will bring

 

  • Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
  • Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
  • Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
  • Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
