About the role


The Business Partner - HR partners with the business to provide expert HR, ER and IR coaching, advice and support to facilitate the achievement of Orica's Business Goals and HR strategy.

What you will be doing

 

  • Provides legal advice to Orica's businesses in Northern Asia & Group Function, to enable achievement of local business strategies and objectives in accordance with applicable laws and Orica policies and procedures.
  • Drives HR Projects implementation in countries within Asia
  • Works with the Regional HR People Services teams as well as respective country HR counterparts
  • Plans, advises and responds to emerging issues
  • Provide coaching to managers as required
  • Conducts investigations as required
  • Implements organisational wide projects at local level as required
  • Reviews of regional industrial relations trends and the provision of ER/IR advice to the business
  • Partners with the COE to deliver specialist functional services, manage the relationship, ensure the COE is aware of the region/site requirements and ensure delivery against agreed standards of service
  • Support Vice President in the delivery of the HR Monthly Dashboard report to the Functional streams within region / business unit.

What you will bring

 

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree.
  • At least 10 - 15 years of relevant work experience 
  • Excellent project management skill and can manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong executive presence and can influence leaders during discussions
  • Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives 
  • Strong thought and executional leadership
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Financial acumen & budgeting experience is an advantage
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
