About the role


The Analyst - Commercial provides regional data insights and analytical business development and commercial support through the maintenance and analysis of commercial data including Rise and Falls and assistance in preparing presentations & proposals to customers, supporting key administrative functions (such as GQOM, Letters of Offer, PRONTO, Resource Models, contracts, forecasting, etc), managing contract pipelines and leading specific process improvement initiatives.

What you will be doing

 

  • Develops and maintains key commercial information for Key Accounts.
  • Provides support for customer relationship for nominated accounts and ensure all Rise and Falls are implemented, BRAD minutes are taken and Salesforce information in maintained
  • Supports Business Development Managers in group/site negotiations
  • Identifies and develops account growth opportunities where appropriate.
  • Assists with generation of Pronto, Resource Models, Letters of Offer and GQOMS processes
  • Co-ordinates and monitors all forecasting (IE,HE and BULK) for Key Accounts with in region
  • Regularly analyses key data, providing trend analysis and corrective actions
  • Provides regional coordination, support, analysis, reporting including but not limited to Monthly KPI reports and Customer Reporting requirements
  • Assists with development /update of customer Key Account Plans.
  • Assists with preparation of Brad Meetings
  • Develops and maintains of Contract / Key Initiatives Pipeline Leads product and service initiatives
  • Supports Business Development Managers in identifying and implementing step out initiatives
  • Supports team in developing and rolling out Sales / Commercial training programs
  • Act as SAP / system mentor for Area, ensuring effective use of systems, including direct training as require

What you will bring

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience post qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. 
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement. 
  • Ability to plan, influence & execute.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of Mining Safety Management System Aspect by always prioritizing Safety Value.
