What you will be doing

Build Modern Data & BI Products

• Create data pipelines, dashboards, BI solutions, and GenAI-enabled products on our multi‑cloud platform
• Transform business requirements into scalable and secure data solutions
• Work on SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and SAP BI data models

Improve and Support Orica’s Data Platform

• Contribute to data architecture, storage, analysis, and security
• Monitor data platform performance and resolve issues
• Manage product lifecycle, releases, and documentation

Lead Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with data stewards, BI analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders
• Ensure high-quality data governance
• Drive innovation and help build a strong performance culture in the DAI Team

Ensure Quality, Compliance & Governance

• Follow Orica’s standards for development, change management, architecture, and security
• Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to deliver data products that meet Orica's global standards

What you will bring

Must-Have Experience

• 10+ years in IT, with experience in at least 2 of these domains:
  • SAP BI / S4H Embedded Analytics
  • Data Management
  • ETL Development
  • Data Analytics & Visualisation
  • Data Warehouse / Data Lake
  • Cloud Data Services
  • API Management
• Experience working in global organizations, using Agile and DevOps
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills (technical & non-technical audiences)

Nice-to-Have

• Certifications or experience in SAP, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• 5+ years in cloud data platforms and data product deployment
• Experience with SAP BI + Microsoft/Google technologies
