About the role
Orica, the world's leading mining and civil blasting company, supporting customers in more than 100 countries worldwide, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance planning activities for the AusPac region from our Hyderabad Technical Centre (onsite, Monday to Friday).
The Maintenance Planner develops and delivers maintenance schedules that improve plant uptime, asset reliability, and cost efficiency. The role supports multiple regional teams and plays a key role in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost outcomes.
What you will be doing
- Plan & schedule preventative, corrective, and online/offline maintenance activities.
- Coordinate parts & services with suppliers, OEMs, and external workshops.
- Lead planning meetings and present the proposed schedule for alignment.
- Work with SMEs to define scopes of work.
- Ensure proper work closure in the CMMS following Orica’s standards and statutory requirements.
- Track maintenance KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to annual maintenance budgets with accurate planning inputs.
- Maintain SAP task lists to support consistent execution.
What you will bring
- Technical or trade maintenance background (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
- Experience with SAP PM or other CMMS
- Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills
- Understanding of maintenance inventory, spare parts, and procurement
- Experience working in large/global businesse
