About the role
Lead Training Excellence at Helidon – Be the Catalyst for Capability Growth
Are you passionate about empowering teams and driving operational excellence through training? Join Orica’s Helidon Manufacturing site as a Training Superintendent and take the lead in shaping a culture of continuous learning and safety.
In this full-time leadership role, you’ll design and deliver impactful training programs that align with business goals, uplift workforce capability, and support safe, efficient operations. You’ll work closely with site teams, plant operations, and SHES leaders to identify gaps, implement solutions, and foster a learning environment where people thrive.
What you will be doing
- Strategic development and execution of site-wide training initiatives.
- End-to-end ownership of training programs—from planning and delivery to evaluation and improvement.
- Site audits to identify and close competency and compliance gaps.
- Collaboration across teams to embed training into daily operations.
- A strong safety and performance culture through continuous learning.
What you will bring
- 2+ years in manufacturing, operations, training, SHES, or quality roles.
- Proven leadership in training strategy and delivery.
- Ability to deliver both theoretical and hands-on training.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and decision-making skills.
- Bonus: Experience with LMS or formal training qualifications.
