About the role
What you will be doing
- Setting and role-modelling high standards across safety, health, environment and security (SHES), including leading investigations and ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.
- Delivering production volumes and quality outcomes in line with customer, market and business requirements.
- Executing daily, weekly and monthly production plans, including contribution to the S&OP process.
- Managing production costs, unit costs and operating budgets.
- Leading production teams through clear performance objectives, coaching, development and talent management.
- Ensuring effective permit-to-work processes to support safe and efficient maintenance execution.
- Owning site-wide continuous improvement initiatives and embedding a performance-driven culture.
- Approving production documentation and contributing to monthly business and performance reporting.
What you will bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science.
- Extensive manufacturing experience, typically 7+ years post-qualification, including strong people leadership experience.
- Proven capability leading teams in an operational manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing production performance, cost control and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to influence across a broad stakeholder group and operate effectively as part of a site leadership team.
- Clear, confident communication and decision-making capability.
