About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator – Inventory to join our dynamic team at Orica Helidon Site.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all material handling activities within the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining the integrity of all products. You’ll also manage inventory orders and execute freight schedules while upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
What you will be doing
- Coordinate goods receipt and inventory movement (physical and system-based)
- Lead stock-takes, inventory investigations, and reconciliations
- Maintain product integrity (expiry dates, packaging condition)
- Oversee picking, packing, and dispatch activities
- Ensure warehouse asset maintenance and compliance
- Support contractor clearance and permit-to-work processes
- Conduct safety inspections, JCCs, and SLIs
- Facilitate training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Planning, Production, and 3PL providers
What you will bring
- 5–10 years’ experience in inventory, logistics, or planning
- Strong knowledge of SAP (Material Management & Transport Modules)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and reporting tools
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and transport safety (desirable)
- Previous experience in manufacturing, mining, or transport sectors
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
- Team-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude
