About the role

We’re excited to offer a great opportunity for an experienced finance person who enjoys being out in the operation, working through issues with site teams and turning financial information into practical action.

We are looking for an experienced Business Partner to join our Helidon manufacturing site. This is a great opportunity to become embedded in the business, working with site management, engineering, supply chain and operations teams to improve manufacturing performance.

You will be a trusted partner at the plant working at part of the management team You will work directly with operational data, product costs and site teams to understand performance that helps the site run smarter and more efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how things are made, and prefers influencing outcomes directly rather than working behind the scenes in a corporate office.

Once site relationships are built, this role could be managed with 2-3 days per week at site, so may suit someone willing to commute.

What you will be doing

• You will work alongside production, engineering and supply chain teams to deliver financial insight that supports manufacturing performance
• Analyse product costing and site performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Manage site budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end reporting
• Support production, supply chain and engineering teams to drive cost control and efficiency

What you will bring

• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, operations, mining or site‑based finance role
• Strong management accounting and product costing capability
• Confidence working autonomously, and ability to build strong partnerships with site management, engineering, supply chain and operations teams
• The ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non‑finance stakeholders;
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills (BI tools highly regarded).
