About The Role – GeoTechnical Instrumentation Specialist (Hanwell NB)
The Geotechnical Instrumentation Specialist plays a key role in the sales team as the first line of communication between the company and the customer. Working closely with the Director of Sales, the role is responsible for building customer relationships and supporting the customer through the sales process.
What you will be doing
- Communicate directly with customers to accurately assess project requirements, build sales quotes, and execute sales
- Work with sales team to provide seamless customer service experience throughout the entire sales cycle
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications and capabilities in relation to diverse industry projects
- Collaborate across all departments in order to provide customers with timely and accurate product information
- Develop and execute individualized customer presentations
- Attend/present at industry conferences
- Actively pursue sales leads with existing and new customers
- Provide on-the-job installation support for customers as needed
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
- Report on sales to management team
- Perform additional duties as required

- Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with subject-matter experts to gather key information
- Experience with project management, working independently and demonstrating initiative on the job
- Excellent organizational, analytical and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Occasional travel is required
Role dimensions
- Travel: Occasional – 25%
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (8:30am - 4:30 pm)
- This role will require you to be in the Hanwell office 5 days per week. Hybrid schedule can be negotiated after probational period
Your qualifications
- Geomatics, Civil or Geotechnical engineering degree required

Compensation
- Salary $60,000 - $65,000 CAD
- Commercial Incentive Plan
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
