🌍 About the role
As a Technical & Quality Manager, you own technical governance and quality performance across the Gyttorp site, with clear accountability for how our manufacturing processes are designed, executed, and strengthened to meet both today’s and tomorrow’s demands.
You will be a key member of the Gyttorp Site Leadership Team, partnering closely with operations, safety, and global technology stakeholders to strengthen safe, compliant, and sustainable site performance.
✅ What you will be doing
- Own and strengthen technical governance across manufacturing, including standards, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Act as technical authority for process changes and Management of Change (MOC) impacting manufacturing technology.
- Lead quality assurance and the site Quality Management System, covering audits, supplier quality, and customer complaints.
- Support risk assessments and hazard studies, ensuring key controls and technical barriers are effective and up to date.
- Drive continuous improvement by reducing cost of poor quality, scrap, rework, and technical downtime.
- Lead, coach, and develop quality and technical resources, building long term site capability.
- Be the technical bridge between Gyttorp, regional stakeholders, and global technology teams.
👩🎓Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a relevant science discipline.
- Solid experience from chemical or explosive manufacturing, with strong process understanding.
- Confidence in leading complex technical investigations and cross functional problem solving.
- Experience working with quality systems (ISO 9001), audits, corrective actions, and suppliers.
- A leadership style built on trust, collaboration, and integrity.
- Curiosity, courage, and motivation to continuously learn and improve.
