We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented strategic sourcing specialist who thrives in a dynamic, international environment. Your ability to work independently, manage contracts, and identify opportunities while paying close attention to details will be key to building sustainable, long-term business relationships and supporting Orica's continued success.

The role can be based either in Gyttorp (Sweden) or in Lisbon (Portugal), with flexibility to consider candidates located in other Orica offices within the EMEA region. If you are passionate about creating long-term value and thriving in a dynamic environment – we would love to hear from you. 

✅ What you will be doing

    

  • Analyse data and identify cost reductions opportunities within EMEA multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Identify market trends, develop and execute strategic souring strategies.
  • Manage and develop business with suppliers across EMEA manufacturing sites.
  • Evaluate bids, negotiate contracts and ensure compliance against KPI’s.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners across EMEA manufacturing networks.
  • Support new project development, mitigate supply risk and drive TCO improvements while maintaining quality and service levels.
  • Act with integrity and ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure sourcing strategies align with business objectives.
  • Continuously improving sourcing and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support global sourcing & procurement strategy and work within procurement processes and systems.

👩‍🎓What you will bring

    

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in sourcing and/or procurement management, preferable within manufacturing.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, including SAP and Ariba.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish.
