🌍 About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic PPIS Manager EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) to drive technical governance, product performance, process safety, quality assurance, and innovation across the region.

In this strategic leadership role, you will work closely with Business Units, Product Managers, Manufacturing, Commercial teams and Global Technology to strengthen major hazard management, drive technical excellence and support the successful implementation of new technologies, products and processes.

✅ What you will be doing

• Lead EMEA governance for Major Hazard Management, process safety, and technical risk management.
• Own the EMEA PPIS capability framework, competency development programs, training strategy, succession planning approach and technical assurance processes.
• Own EMEA PPIS standards, technical procedures, governance frameworks and ways of working to drive consistency and operational excellence across the region.
• Drive quality governance, Management of Change processes, and product failure investigations.
• Lead cross-regional continuous improvement initiatives, benchmarking and best-practice deployment to enhance safety, product performance, efficiency and profitability.
• Support implementation of new technologies, products, and strategic innovation programs.
• Provide technical expertise to internal stakeholders, customers, regulators, and industry forums.
• Foster collaboration between EMEA teams and Global Technology to share best practices and lessons learned. 

👩‍🎓Qualifications

• A degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience within chemical processing, manufacturing, explosives, or related industries.
• Strong expertise in process safety, quality systems, risk management, and technical governance.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills across multiple countries and functions.
• Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and developing technical capability.
• Strong English language skills are essential. Proficiency in Kazakh, Russian, Swedish, or Norwegian would be considered as a valuable asset.

Travel: Traveling occurs in the role, approximately 20-25 days/year
