Manager - PMO

We are now looking for a PMO (Project Management Office) Manager to lead our capital project portfolio across Gyttorp and EMEA satellite discrete manufacturing sites.

🌍 About the role

This is a senior and influential role for someone who is motivated by turning strategy into real outcomes and enjoys working close to operations.

As a PMO Manager, you will have end‑to‑end ownership of the discrete manufacturing capital programme in your region. You’ll work in close partnership with site leaders, asset owners, engineering, maintenance teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to standard.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex programmes that truly matter to the business; shaping how we plan, govern and deliver manufacturing investment today and into the future.

✅ What you will be doing

• Acting as the key partner to Asset Owners for programme delivery
• Balancing, prioritising and governing projects across multiple sites
• Leading and supporting cross-functional project teams
• Ensuring strong project governance, reporting and compliance with Orica standards
• Managing programme budgets, suppliers and contracts
• Driving a strong safety-first mindset across all projects
• Building project management capability and contributing to continuous improvement within the PMO

👩‍🎓Qualifications

• A degree in engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 10–15 years’ experience leading capital projects within manufacturing, petrochemical or minerals processing environments 
• Strong experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders across sites or regions
• A structured, calm and solutions-oriented way of working
• Solid commercial judgement and experience working with suppliers and contracts
• The ability to lead, influence and build trust across different functions and cultures
