🌍 About the role
We are now looking for a driven Project Delivery Lead to join our talented Project Management Office (PMO) team. You’ll be based at our site in Gyttorp but work with projects across Orica's production units in the whole EMEA region. Your responsibilities include project planning, contributing to improvements, documentation, reporting, and supporting the central PMO group within Orica.
This is a hands-on project management role where you’ll manage multiple projects from concept through to commissioning, working closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain to bring ideas to life safely and efficiently.

✍️ What you will be doing
- Lead end-to-end delivery of capital projects, from planning to commissioning;
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, production and supply chain;
- Manage project budgets, schedules and resources to meet delivery targets;
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure safe and timely project execution;
- Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and cost optimisation;
- Deliver projects safely end-to-end, with zero harm to people or equipment;
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to deliver quality outcomes.
👩🎓 What you will bring
- Experience leading complex capital projects in manufacturing, engineering, or similar environments;
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities;
- Experience managing budgets, timelines and project risks;
- Background in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous (not essential);
- Familiarity with SAP, project management tools (e.g. MS Project) and SharePoint.
✅ Qualifications
- Degree in engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- 8- 10 years in the management of capital projects in petrochemical, manufacturing, or minerals processing
- Good documentation and communication skills in Swedish and English
- Proficiency in SAP PPM, MS Project, and project reporting tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
- PMP (or equivalent Project Management certification) preferred
