About the role

The Account Coordinator coordinates support for assigned customer accounts to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of products and services to clients. This includes reporting on key metrics, analyzing commercial data, assisting in the preparation of client presentations and proposals, supporting key administrative functions (such as offer letters, contracts, forecasts, etc.), and leading specific process improvement initiatives.

What you will be doing

Develop and maintain key commercial information within the area.
Provide customer relationship support for assigned accounts and ensure that all price increases and decreases are properly implemented.
Support account/site group negotiations.
Identify and develop account growth opportunities as appropriate.
Assist in the preparation of Pronto, resource models, and offer letters.
Manage debtor compliance for assigned accounts.
Investigate disputed claims related to unpaid invoices when required.
Coordinate and oversee all forecasting activities (IE, HE, and Bulk) within the region.
Support the GQOMS approval process and the escalation of expense proposals.
Maintain an overtime tracking system for the region and ensure associated costs are billed to customers.
Regularly analyze key data and provide trend analysis and corrective actions.
Coordinate delay tracking and recovery processes.
Manage regional coordination, support, analysis, and reporting, including (but not limited to) monthly KPI reports, process stage financial data, and client reporting requirements.
Ensure legal compliance within the area.
Support the development and updating of customer account plans.
Assist in the preparation of BRAD meetings.
Lead product and service initiatives to achieve Blast-Based Services (BBS) and new product targets.
Demonstrate variance management to capture additional revenue opportunities.
Maintain summaries of operational contracts within the area.
Act as a SAP/system mentor for the area, ensuring effective system use, including providing direct training as needed.

What you will bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Required to be fully bi-lingual in Spanish and English 
Minimum 5 years’ experience in competitive business environment with at least 2 years’ experience in complex sales
Demonstrated ability to learn and understand the needs of a diverse mining, quarry and construction customer base, understand Orica’s unique capabilities, and facilitate the sale of appropriate solutions to those customer needs
