We are seeking an experienced Superintendent – Maintenance Planning, Power & Distribution to join our manufacturing site in Gomia. In this role, you will lead maintenance planning activities for critical electrical infrastructure, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of power distribution systems that support site operations.

What you will be doing
- Lead maintenance planning and scheduling activities for power and distribution assets across the site.
- Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
- Coordinate shutdown planning and execution-ready maintenance work packages.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives for electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and company procedures.
- Manage maintenance documentation, SAP records, technical data, and asset history.
- Oversee critical spare parts planning, vendor coordination, and maintenance cost control.
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians while building a strong safety-focused culture.
- Provide technical support to operational and capital project initiatives across the site.
What you will bring
Essential
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing, industrial, mining, chemical, metals, power, or heavy industry environments.
- Strong understanding of HT electrical systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution networks.
- Experience in maintenance planning, work management, and reliability improvement activities.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience using SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
Preferred
- Exposure to 33kV and 11kV electrical systems and substation operations.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, spares, and maintenance budgets.
- Knowledge of TPM, 5S, reliability improvement, and industrial safety practices.
