About the role

The Superintendent - Maintenance Planning is responsible for the operation and maintenance of site utility services in an efficient, cost-effective, and safe manner, based in Gomia.

What you will be doing

• Develop, refine, and implement a preventive and predictive maintenance program for HVAC equipment. 
• Provide engineering solutions to persistent issues through root cause analysis. 
• Achieve fixed cost targets for the Utility Department. 
• Manage spare parts and oversee inventory control. 
• Update and maintain drawings, procedures, and manuals in the Document Management System (DMS). 
• Facilitate the multiskilling of Utility technicians. 
• Coordinate with the Boiler Inspector and DVC Maithan officials. 
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of centralized boilers and compressors, including the entire distribution network. 
• Schedule and manage maintenance for the main water line, pumps, HT/LT DG sets, diesel engines, sewage treatment plants, and sewage booster systems. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide effective solutions. 
• Ensure compliance with the Safety Management System. 
• Monitor, plan, and execute all planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the 4S HANA (SAP PM Module) requirements.

What you will bring

• Mechanical graduate engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in utility operations and maintenance. 
• Proficient in computer applications, IMS, 5S, Lean methodologies, and SAP is a plus. 
• Strong communication and liaison skills. 
• Familiar with HVAC systems, coal-fired boilers, air compressors, and pneumatic applications. 
• Practical experience in maintaining HVAC equipment. 
• Understanding of SAP operations.
