About the role
The Superintendent - Maintenance Planning is responsible for the operation and maintenance of site utility services in an efficient, cost-effective, and safe manner, based in Gomia.
What you will be doing
- Develop, refine, and implement a preventive and predictive maintenance program for HVAC equipment.
- Provide engineering solutions to persistent issues through root cause analysis.
- Achieve fixed cost targets for the Utility Department.
- Manage spare parts and oversee inventory control.
- Update and maintain drawings, procedures, and manuals in the Document Management System (DMS).
- Facilitate the multiskilling of Utility technicians.
- Coordinate with the Boiler Inspector and DVC Maithan officials.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of centralized boilers and compressors, including the entire distribution network.
- Schedule and manage maintenance for the main water line, pumps, HT/LT DG sets, diesel engines, sewage treatment plants, and sewage booster systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with the Safety Management System.
- Monitor, plan, and execute all planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the 4S HANA (SAP PM Module) requirements.
What you will bring
- Mechanical graduate engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in utility operations and maintenance.
- Proficient in computer applications, IMS, 5S, Lean methodologies, and SAP is a plus.
- Strong communication and liaison skills.
- Familiar with HVAC systems, coal-fired boilers, air compressors, and pneumatic applications.
- Practical experience in maintaining HVAC equipment.
- Understanding of SAP operations.
