About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partner to support our Gomia Manufacturing Site in Bokaro, Jharkhand. This is a strategic and hands-on role, partnering closely with site leadership to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

You will be the most senior finance representative at the site, providing leadership in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, capital expenditure, and financial analytics. You’ll also play a key role in monthly business reviews and stakeholder engagement across manufacturing and corporate functions.

What you will be doing

 

  • Lead site financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor and analyze operating and fixed costs; recommend improvements.
  • Manage SAP product costing and inventory reviews.
  • Oversee capital expenditure evaluations and approvals.
  • Prepare monthly business reviews and present to site leadership.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive cost savings and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Orica’s SH&E standards and financial policies.
  • Educate plant teams on financial concepts to enhance decision-making.

What you will bring

 

  • CA, CMA, or CPA qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in manufacturing finance or standard costing.
  • Strong background in operations finance and business partnering.
  • Proven stakeholder management across diverse cultures and regions.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA; knowledge of BPC is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Exposure to large/global manufacturing MNCs.
  • Ability to work closely with site managers and influence decision-making.
