About The Role – Diesel Shop Mechanic – Gold Hill, NC 


The Mechanic’s primary objective is to maintain and repair Class B truck / Mobile Mixing Units (MMU) focusing on hydraulics, gear process pumps and electrical systems, primarily engine and chassis work.

 


Role Dimensions 
•    Work Schedule:  Monday through Thursday 4 days / 10 hours each
•    Daily Schedule: 6am – 4pm
•    Overtime: possible 
•    Travel: Local Day trip for field repairs

What you will be doing

This person is responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of this equipment to minimize downtime in delivery and service processes.

What you will bring

 

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Proven confidence in working independently in remote areas
•    4–5 years experience in troubleshooting or maintenance environment.
•    Computer literate with industrial applications
•    Expert practical understanding of, and experience with, control theory and systems (including electronics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics).
•    Highly developed problem-solving abilities.

•    High School Diploma or Equivalent
•    Automotive Electrical experience
•    Engine and Chassis experience
•    Hydraulic & Pumps experience

Compensation 

•    Hourly: $25.00 - $27.00 / hour

(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
