About the role

 

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a talented Mechanic Technician. The successful candidate will engage in labor and/or training related to their qualifications, either as part of a vocational training program or through performing duties associated with their trade qualification.

 

This position is based at our Manufacturing Plant in Ekibastuz, Kazakhstan, and reports to the Assets Supervisor.

What you will be doing

 

  • Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely;
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues and determine the necessary repairs;
  • Install and assemble mechanical components according to specifications and ensure they function correctly;
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including documenting issues and the steps taken to resolve them;
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and ensure all mechanical systems comply with safety standards.

What you will bring

 

  • A deep understanding of mechanical systems and machinery, including how different components work together;
  • The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and effectively;
  • Precision in performing maintenance and repairs, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards;
  • The physical endurance to handle the demands of the job, which often involves lifting heavy parts and working in various positions;
  • Clear and effective communication to report issues, document work, and collaborate with team members.
