We’re looking for an experienced Manager – Finance Business Partner (Discrete Manufacturing, Global Supply, Nitrogen and SHES) to join our global finance team in Dubai. This is a key strategic role where you will provide financial leadership, guidance and actionable insights to drive business performance across the Nitrogen value chain.

🌍 About the role

 

As Manager – Finance Business Partner, you will lead the financial strategy for the Global Nitrogen function, focusing on continuous improvement, cost optimisation, and proactive risk management.

 

You will act as a trusted financial advisor, partnering with regional finance teams, procurement, supply chain, and Group Finance (including Treasury, Tax and Financial Control) to deliver transparent, data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.

 

A key part of the role is leveraging advanced analytics, including Power BI, to enhance financial visibility and enable value-add analysis across vendor performance, freight optimisation, inventory management and cost avoidance initiatives.

 

✅ What you will be doing

 

  • Lead financial planning and performance management, including budgeting, forecasting and P&L oversight.
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights to support decision-making and enhance business performance
  • Deliver financial modelling and scenario analysis to inform procurement and strategic initiatives
  • Drive value creation through cost optimisation, working capital improvement and operational efficiency across the value chain
  • Ensure robust financial governance, risk management and compliance in line with Group standards, while promoting a strong safety and collaborative culture

Key challenges include:

  • Delivering timely, accurate insights to support faster, value adding business decisions
  • Operating within a complex, global matrix environment
  • Managing competing stakeholder priorities
  • Embedding SAP S/4HANA to enhance reporting and efficiency
  • Strengthening alignment between finance and operational teams

👩‍🎓Qualifications

 

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience within a large, global organisation, ideally in supply chain, logistics or asset-intensive environments
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, CIMA) preferred
  • Proficiency in SAP/S4HANA and Power BI
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic business partnering, financial control, governance, audit and process improvement
  • Experience supporting value chain performance, including cost optimisation and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Strong analytical, commercial and strategic thinking capability, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, cross-functional approach
  • Strong organisational capability and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Sound knowledge of financial and regulatory standards
