About the role
We’re excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as an Driver - Explosives.
In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for transporting explosive materials to Orica manufacturing plants, customer service depots. The position also involves operating, maintaining, and caring for the delivery vehicle—always with a strong commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and compliance with all approved standards and procedures.
This position is based at the Almaly Copper Mine Site and reports directly to the Site Supervisor.

What you will be doing
- Identifies and addresses safety risks, participates in safety meetings, and ensures a risk-free work environment;
- Conducts daily pre-start checks, including vehicle condition, safety kits, and license validity (STNK & Driver’s License);
- Understands route priorities and schedules to ensure efficient vehicle use;
- Accurately records all journeys and submits daily reports and expense claims on time, with valid receipts in line with Orica’s finance policy;
- Maintains Defensive Driving certification and consistently reminds passengers to wear seat belts.
What you will bring
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment;
- Certified in Defensive Driving with a solid track record of responsible vehicle operation, maintenance, and pre-start inspections;
- Consistently punctual and dependable, with accurate journey logging, timely reporting, and adherence to company policies;
- Ability to plan and follow optimal routes, manage schedules effectively, and provide courteous service to site visitors;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
