About the role

The Lead - Warehouse and Distribution leads coordination of warehouse/distribution activities, ensuring best practices in road and rail transportations to lower cost, minimise safety and security risks, and reduce lead time in supply.

What you will be doing

Key Accountabilities Supports delivery of Regional Supply Chain Strategy and Breakaway initiatives Executes the monthly plan working with Manufacturing teams, downstream businesses, and third parties Helps coordinate market intelligence and knowledge to establish industry-leading practices for safety improvements Works with team to find improved efficiency and productivity of warehouse operations and processes Ensures compliance with regulations for services delivered to specific customers Overcomes problems of stock visibility and traceability, improve picking accuracy, avoid losses made through non-deliveries, wrong deliveries, returns and service level fines Manages the relationships and execution of contracts for carriers Integrates critical management tools including reporting, analytics and dashboards to manage carriers Develops and meets budgets defined Ensures provision of systems, processes and technical expertise to manage Major Hazards Facilities (MHF) activities and operations in accordance with MHF regulations Oversees notification and license process Initiates change impact assessments for organisational changes Provides resources with MHF regulation knowledge to develop and maintain the Safety Case Monitors of key control performance indicators

What you will bring

* Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
* Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
* Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
* Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
* Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
* Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
