About the role

 

We are delighted to announce that we are looking for a talented and motivated Team Leader – ANE Manufacturing to support and lead manufacturing operations at the Chambishi Mine Site.
 
 
The role is responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, production, customer satisfaction, and efficiency. It plays a key part in creating and maintaining a safe, compliant, and high‑performing work environment while coaching, mentoring, and influencing manufacturing teams, supply chain teams, and contractors.
 
 
This is a non‑traditional line leadership role that requires strong influencing skills, sound process knowledge, and a continuous improvement mindset to ensure compliance with operating procedures, effective people development, and the successful delivery of business and customer outcomes. The role operates within the ANE Manufacturing structure and follows the established site and operational reporting line.

What you will be doing

 

  • Lead and support manufacturing operations at the Chambishi Mine Site to achieve objectives in safety, production, customer satisfaction, and efficiency through operational excellence. 
  • Create and maintain a safe, legal, and compliant working environment by embedding strong SHES standards, ensuring incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions are completed.
  • Coach, mentor, and influence manufacturing teams, supply chain teams, and contractors to ensure effective teamwork, capability development, and adherence to operating procedures.
  • Oversee operational and commercial activities including plant maintenance, quality assurance, stock control, and support for meeting production and customer demand.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, supporting small projects, and promoting a culture of following procedures while encouraging improvement initiatives.

 

What you will bring

 
  • Proven leadership and influencing capability, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop manufacturing teams and contractors in a non‑traditional line leadership environment.
  • A strong commitment to safety, health, environment, and compliance, with the ability to embed a positive SHES culture and lead by example.
  • Solid manufacturing or operations experience, supported by sound process knowledge and the ability to ensure adherence to operating procedures and permit‑to‑work systems.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the capability to identify opportunities, support small projects, and drive efficiency and quality improvements. 
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and contribute to achieving business and customer outcomes.
