About the role
To manage and oversee the operation of the machinery and equipment within the manufacturing and assembly plant.
Ensuring the safe and efficient functioning systems, monitoring and controlling performance and quality, and addressing the issues or malfunctions that may arise.
Ensuring record keeping is up to date.
What you will be doing
Safety, Health & Environment & Security
- Operate within the Orica SHE standards
- Perform job in line with Orica safe working practices and environmental standards
- Compliance with I.S manufacture and plant operating procedures, including work permits, confined space entry, control of change, PPE application, record keeping, security management and employee handbook
- No safety, health and environmental incidents
- No product transport incidents
- No personnel accidents to self or direct reports
- No preventable security incursions or thefts
What you will bring

- English speaker preferred
- Knowledge of chemical environment.

Your qualifications
- Grade 12 full certificate
- A trade qualification in instrumentation or equivalent is added advantage
- Experience in plant equipment operation is added advantage
